For Sale:

52" Scag Hydro Walkbehind
(No hour meter guess would be 1000-1500 on machine)
FH500V 17HP Kawasaki (under 400 hours, engine)
Late 1990's version just before they went to the PTO blade engagement

I picked this unit up 3 seasons ago to use on hills and in gated areas as I had 2 60" ZTR's. Last season (beginning of 2006) I picked up a bunch of lawns that were gated and only 48" or so wide so I picked up a 48" Turf Tracer. This unit sat as back up all of last season, had no room on the trailer and the 48" TT fit in the tighter gates.

When I picked it up, it was from a guy who had just replaced the engine on it and paid something over $2000 (cant find my papers). I used it for a while and replaced a ton of the parts ironically just before I picked up the 48".
~(3) Spindles (new not just bearings)
~Deck Pulleys
~Rear Tires
~Front Tires and bearings
~Other misc parts im forgetting

At this point it makes no sense for me to have the machine as it sits more then it gets used. I have a 36" and a 48" for hills and gates so im all set there. I'd like to sell this to make a bit more space and put the funds into a larger trailer for the 07 season. When I used the mower it ran and cut well. Again it has not been used in a while so im sure it will need a few little things but all the major components were replaced. I can change the oil/filter before I let it go if the buyer would like.

I will try to get some pics together this weekend of the actual unit. Just need to clear the crap in the shed out of the way but im sure you all know how that goes.

Price is Best Offer at this point, be reasonable with all the parts and money invested in it but id rather it go to someone who will put it to use then it sit. Otherwise its off to ebay/local paper in 2 or soo weeks :)

whats the asking price?

At this point I am entertaining offers. I had interest last year locally for $1500-1700 (then I never followed up as the season got hectic) but I think for a quick sale id let it go for $1000-1200 as is. Im losing out considering I dumped $450+ easy in parts for it and then never got use out of them.

Here are a few pics... not the greatest but its a start. I got it out and hosed it down a bit. The paint on the deck is showing some age but I will see if I have a can of Scag orange or "cats eye gold". If I do I will clean it up a bit more. The pics were after it got dark so the lighting is poor but i'll be glad to take a bunch more.
