ok, it's an 06 F350 XLT, 6.0. Has more options than I need. Just picked it up yesterday. I'm gonna put sides up for mulch and the fall season. I do wanna letter it too, what color lettering do you guys think would look good?
I picked it up for $32,000

I'll be using it for lawn clippings, mulch, etc. It's a Crysteel stainless steel dump. I can't wait to start using it

I was just wondering about hauling plant material in a short bed.........with how it sits, how much weight can you "legally" haul?

Nice truck........I would sand off the lettering on the mud flaps and flip them around. A little thing that nags me.......like having the dealers name on the back of a car when you buy it or the license plate frame. First things to go.

Was that price with the dump??

sinoplawncare

Yes, that was the orice with the dump. There are lots of rebates from Ford now that is why I was able to get that price, with a great interest rate.

Beautiful truck, that body is sweet, much better than the steel ones that will rust out after a year. What dealer did you go through?

What are the angle brackets by the hitch for ? tailgat suppot ? looks like a trailer tongue may bang into them during tight turns.

They are to support the tailgate when you put it down so that it does not hit the ball and dent the tailgate.

Awesome truck, I love the stainless body. I had almost the same body on a gmc, the only thing i didn't like about it is when your getting in and out from the back. I'd always end up covered in grease from the locking mechanism. Good luck trucks awesome

Looks real nice. Great price too, what were the total rebates and what was the interest rate for how long. I was checking the same ones out at my local ford dealership. Very nice

You got a good price on it considering its an XLT diesel. Personally, I would have gone to a heavier chassis for better (legal) hauling capacity. Good luck with it! Is it Auto or a 6 speed?
