2006 Yazoo-Kees 52 hydro Z- with a 25 hp Kawi, 150 hours. 2000 Snapper, belt drive, 15hp Kawi, grass gobbler and Jungle Jim 2 wheel, fair condition, needs brakes. A 1999 16 foot open trailer, decent shape, no brakes but new tires and a wacker rack. Fairly well used Red Max backpack, Tanaka stick, Tanaka push edger and Red Max weed wacker. All equipment runs fine, but smaller equipment is a little older (3-5 years). 30-35 small accounts, no guarantees but all well established customers and all close together. Most are $35 or $40 a few are higher.
$6500??

Plan is to get off the ground and update as money starts to flow. Waddyathink??

Thanks in advance for the replies.

hydroZ $5000 + wtf is a snapper ok $500 + trailer $1000 + flat rate for each of the rest (4 x $100) and you throw me the accounts for free = 6,900 and that to me is kinda on the low side.

I'd almost say it's a steal, but I haven't looked at it, if it's all in real decrepit shape then it could be just about worthless too, this is assuming the stuff is in about the shape its age would indicate under normal commercial wear and tear.

But the free acc'ts, even if it's all a bunch of moss-covered weed infested yards that don't require but 6-7 cuts for the entire season, I still can't argue with it.

You'll likely lose 10% of them almost right off the bat, that's normal, which leaves you with 30 or so by end of season, you'd still want to do some advertising but in ways this would cut out a lot of the initial headaches involved in acquiring all this, if it's half decent I'd give it a thumbs up.

Maybe ask the guy if he'd show you a few of the lots, just 2-3 or so, make sure you have the cash in your pocket thou and I mean the whole amount.

Dang I ran outta edit time, but I see a brand-new 48" Yazoo-kees on ebay for 4000 buy it now, and then I also see a 2006 52" homeowner series for 4,800 so I dunno, you might have to do a little research on this but it's still in the ballpark, I'd say.

LOL. Thanks for the reply. Snappers are big in my area as there is a big dealer here who has a drive in one day service. I'd say the 36 WB is a 5 out of 10 and the smaller equipment about 3 to 4's in condition. Not pretty but they all started right up. . They are almost throw ins as far as I'm concerned.
The trailer has a nice floor and is straight but the back gate is covered with plywood as the expanded was removed. I would have to fix that right away and make it look better.

The Z rider is the commercial version with an upgraded engine and is about a 9 out of 10. Used part of last season on these accounts only. Needs blades and that's about it. Has 2 years of warranty left.

I have looked at the accounts. They are all established lawns that require once a week mowing and he said he only bags one of them. I'd be happy if I kept 20 of the accounts.:)

Sounds like a steal to me. I like the Kees mower, we have one and have never had any problems with it. Accounts seem pretty nice as well.
Good luck, I don't see how you could go wrong????

Here's a pic. I want $900 including the Grass Gobbler. 15HP Kawasaki. I believe it's a 2000 model, maybe a 2001, and has cut 30 -35 small lawns a week for 5 or 6 seasons. Started up and ran fine. Needs brakes.

Trailer. 1999 16 foot, newer tires, decent shape, includes a wacker rack. Lights need a lttle work but I will do that next week. Split gate that currently has plywood on it. Has a platform in the front for equipment and a cage in the front for gas cans. No brakes, never had em. Asking $1000.
