Is it the drum that you're having trouble getting off the axle?

I don't know what make of axle you have on your trailer, but here's a link to the Dexter Axle site. If you have a different axle, you might go to google and search for your brand.

May be different than smaller trailers but they have a cotter pin that keeps the nut from rotating. Take that out then you can unscrew the nut then you can pull the drum off if the pads are not grabbing onto the drum bad.
