Which logo do you like better?

Here are a couple of logos that I had made up. I just can't decide which one I like better. All your opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

2nd one. Its cleaner and easier to read IMO.

Make that two votes for the second one. Very clean and easy to read. In the first one the "s" in the background will be barely visible from a distance

Second is much cleaner. The S logo behind sinopoli along with the squeeze makes it tough to read at a glance.

I'll be the first one to say I like #1 the best. I think it will look alot better on the side of you trucks and on letter head.

The second one reminds me of these signs you see at the small strip malls where the management only allows on style of sign. It seems like to many straight lines. We are in an industry that hates straight lines.
