Having fun putting faces to names here. Jeff and Jackie (jnjnlc) and I had a good chance to become better acquainted yesterday. Today's surprise is that dhicks is here (and spending money, no surprise) Had a nice turn out for the noon meeting today. We are planning to meet for dinner this evening @ Joe's Crab Shack so we can sit down, relax and talk. This is definitely toy heaven. I've been outside playing on equipment. And I will have pictures to prove it! The head-to-head demos of equipment yields some surprises. Members are signing in @ the Turf Mag. booth. Chuck, where are you?

Hi Lanelle, we're already back home and working today. We left the show about 3:30 Friday after they wouldn't let us look at anymore of the stuff outside because of the rain. We had already looked at most everything out there anyway. We drove straight home and got here about 2 am, slept in alittle then went to work. Pressure washing for 8 hours what fun. It was a good show, we got lots of info and some good ideas too. It was good to meet afew of the regulars, next year we will stay for the saturday show if we can..
Later Dale & Betty

I'm glad somebody is down there and having fun. I wanted to go, but with my parents and airfare and everything else, it just isn't possible. Have fun for me! LOL.

We had a great turnout but unfortunatly I didnt make it to the meeting at turf magazines booth. I did meet several of the fellow lawnsite members for dinner though! We had a great time! Next year we need to get even more members there.... for a landscaper like my self I was like a kid in a candy store! I spent 8 hours on Sturday demoing just about every peice of equipment i could from back hoes to ztr's to excavators to walkbehinds! I didnt want to leave today :( !

Thank you Evan! Dinner was fun but next year I vote for a quieter spot, I'm hoarse from talking over the music. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the members -- very nice, friendly people!

Only 17? Wow, I thought there were going to be at least 50 there.

Out of all the ones there, I only have met one of them, Mow Ed. We are going to try for next year. Just 362 more days. :)

Hello, all fresh from the Expo! It was great. Especially meeting all of you that I did get to meet. Eric, I did see and demo the Honda powered Chopper. I think you will love it, and thought of you when I did see it. It was nice to eat lunch with J&J and Lanelle Friday. Lots of stuff to look at too, my head is still spinning. I hope to do it again next year and l look forward to meeting more of you guys and gals. If anyone is coming to Nashville anytime please email me and we will get together, if only to shake hands and say hello! Also if anybody has any questions regarding the Hustler machines, PJ is your man. Thanks PJ for all your help and I look forward to working with you guys in the future, one way or the other!!!
If anyone wants more info, email me for any details from the expo.:D

Hey all, I finally arrived home today from the Expo. That was one long drive back to Texas. I didn't get to make it back to the Turf booth on Sun. I was trying to strike some deals outside with some of the dealers. I did have a great time trying out everything. I still think I missed a few things. I just ran out of time. I did enjoy meeting some people from the lawnsite and going out to Joe's Crab Shack with them. I don't think I have ever spent over 4 hrs at a resturant before. I agree with Lanelle about going to a more low key location for dinner next time. I enjoyed comparing all of the products that they had. It helped me decide what was good and what was junk. I hope to be able to go again next year and maybe we can get more people from the lawnsite to go too. :D

I was there Friday and got a T-shirt but did not see any sheet to sign. We stood there for a pic then I left.

I really enjoyed my visit to Expo. the Exhibitors Reps. were great. Friday, I got rained on at the outdoor exhibit.
That s u c k e d!

I did see crazy equipment operators out there. I guess some people just get wild when they get away from home. I wondered if somebody was treating their equipment the same way they treated the display equipment, would they still think it was so much fun.

Oh, well! Not my problem.

Ouch PJ! hahaha. Yeah I know big. I have worked out in my past and gonna get it going again this fall/winter. Getting the itch to get even bigger! Just remember, your not such a little guy either ok? LOL just kidding! Hey, maybe at the next Expo we can go to an all you can eat buffet, just to see the owners cry. hahaha......

I had a real good time at the Expo. One thing is for sure is that Eric ELM and dhicks can pass for twin brothers. I met Eric last year in Chicago and I met Dave at Expo, I know they drive different mowers but there has to be some relation there.

The inside exhibit area was really set up nice and it was cool. I had my family with me and met up with alot of the Lawnsite crowd on Saturday.

A VERY BIG THANKS to the TURF people for being extra nice to let us get loud in front of their booth.

Very nice people. Was all set to go to dinner and friends from Ohio came by and ya know how that goes. Too much to do in too little time.

Super nice people in Louisville and I am getting used to my new accent. Its hard to put that country twang on an old Chicago boy but I kinda like it. Y'all know what I'm sayin.

The outdoor stuff was good. Can be a little safer (and cooler) but I did try out lots of Z's and I got to say that without talking to any of the reps the Exmark 27 lc is my favorite. Just flat out preference on how it felt for me.

I could go on and on. Ya got to go and see it.

I have yet to meet Eric in person but if we look alike, then he too must be one handsome devil like his twin.:p
