i haven't started yet.. i finished the new flier last night.. but due to the weather.. i didn't think it was wise to start until this weekend or so.. but that's for me and my door to door advertising method.

pass out flyers from mid March through mid April. Most calls come around April 10th.
Best days to pass out are sunny, dry, temps above 60.

I started a few weeks ago when we had the 70* days think I passed out around 1,000 and only had three phone calls landed two. Also had two clients call back from last year there back on board for this year. It's good to here that some one else is trying to go do spring clean ups, I thought I might have been to ealy. What do you guys think about a power rake and aeriaton is it still to wet? I'm laidoff till april 2 and would like to try and get some of this stuff done so all I have to do is cut when the time comes.
Thanks

I haven't used flyers or door hangers in a couple years never seemed to work for me so I stick with newspaper ads and direct mailing and its worked fine for me

I was out working on my rental home today that we just bought, and the ground was frozen so i wont send out the flyers untill the first week of April, of coarse thats up here in Bay City.

ive had an ad in the service directory in my local paper for the last 6 weeks and have not recieved one call from it. i also had an ad in there last fall for a couple weeks and never had a call.

i am not going to take it out yet though. just some food for thought
