Hang on a sec. Is that the 3hp one with the knife to cut bed edges?

Its the one that edges like a sod cutter, I have a huge amount of edgeing and anything that cuts down on edging will save thousands in labor.(just have to pick up edges after done edging) most of my contracts want fresh deep edging each year.

Hey,
Personally, I hate the turfco. We had one, used it about 2 times, then traded it in. Very clumsy machine, and for the price, does not perform well enough to justify it self. Basically, it works great in ideal conditions, (sod lawns, rich soil) but if the ground is hard, rocky, rooty, etc., it becomes more work than its worth. I'd check out the other discussion on edgers, the trenchmaster sounds like the way to go.

grassk,
We just got rid of our last TurfCo.
You can buy a trenchmaster not too much more money and radically increase your productivity. Plus it's easier to use and more veritile.
A Brown TrenchMaster w/ 8hp Honda and steerable wheels is $1699 plus blade.
For comparison: 3hp TurfCo Edge-R-Rite is 1099.99
