Anybody know where I can look up reviews of older trucks. Looking at a late 80's or early 90's model Chevy S-10 with 118,000 miles on it for $2300.00. Just something to put my Quick 36 in to take to sister's yard. Don't need anything bigger.

Any free sites to look up reviews of trucks? Thanks.

You can try epinions.com. I don't know if they would have anything.

I owned a 91' s-10 with the 2.8 v6 and stick. It was a nice little truck and got pretty good gas as I remember. Of course that was in 93' and the truck only had 25k miles on it. With that many miles you will probably be looking at putting some money in the engine or tranny soon unless it was already done.

Come to think of it I had an 86' camaro with the 2.8 also and it was a great car until the hail storm in Savanah in 92' :(

Here is the site for you. I'm not sure how far back it goes but is does list the reliability reported for any vehicle over the years and what the strong and weak points were.

It shows the 2.4 liter engine was a bad one for those trucks... The site goes back to 1991.
