scrubs or wannabees trying to look the part

I have noticed about 3 people around my aera who have taken the sheet metel parts off of their lawn mowers, two of them have even painted the mowers all one color ,one is red, and the other is Great Dane yellow.

The yellow one is a murry he bought from walmart I saw him load it up last year.

I'll get some pictures one of these days when I have time.

Anyone else notice scrubs doing this.

Maybe it's to keep them from rattling. :D

My guess is it would help make them run cooler. A motor sitting out in the open has to run much cooler than one that it all closed up like most tractors are.

I know a home owner that built a lawnmower and used a 750 Honda motor cycle engine and gears to run it. What a sight it is. ;)
