Most liquid fertilizer is soluble powered fertilizer suspended in a solution. Agitation is needed to keep it suspend. Miracle Gro is a powered fertilizer you can buy at any super market.
Your question is quite broad and can't be answered in one thread. First you should have an understanding of all the elements in fertilizer. Next you need to know what elements your soil needs.
Cost and effect of liquid Fertilizer can vary according to soil type. As a general rule Liquid is fast release and gives a fast response while granules are slower in showing a response but give a longer residual. There are exceptions to any rule and there are liquid that are slow release. However you have opened a subject that PhDs write books about.

ric, i think that is the kindest you've ever answerd anybody!
ric is correct, i melt 46-0-0 in the tank, once it's disolved, you don't need very aggressive agitation. i did try 46-0-0 w/ UFLEXX, now you need really good aggitation, that stuff takes a long time to disolve. another option that i have used (up 'till this year) is NBN, the cost is getting way out of hand.

No. You have to use Geritol.
