New Walker Deck Question?

Does any of you know if the new 56" and 74" Walker decks run with gear boxes or are they belt driven like the 52"? And what are the blade tip speeds of these decks?

They are gear driven. Not sure about the tip speed though.

What hp would run the 74" deck. I have a 20hp but not sure if it would run it.

I seriously doubt the 20 hp Kohler will run a 74" deck. I don't think even the 26efi will handle thick growth well. To run 74"
you'd need around 30-35 hp diesel. Remember the motor isn't
just running the deck but also the blower and shifting the mowers
weight and your own.
I emailed Walker about the 74" deck and they said that was still
in the development stages still.
