When you ask "how much time to trim?" what do you mean by trim? Does this mean a light trim or heavy prune? What do you use to trim? Manual shear, electric, or gas trimmer, and bar size? Just trying to get a feel for what you have to work with all the way around.

I'd charge my hourly rate with clean up ....... $ 35 n hour with extra charge for dump run ...... is not off base in your area ... on a Commercial it would be around $45 n hour with a $50.00 per dump run

how long should it take ...... matters on your back ......

what I have done ...... using past experience is fiqure how long it takes 1 guy to do a 75' section ....say this is 1 hour (includes clean up ...lite trim 3-4") ..... than a 720' should have about 9.6 man hours

either way what you charge should be based on your past experience with similar type work .... you should be able to predict your own ability to this size hedge .... even comparing it to smaller jobs of the same shrub

I agree with the above pricing, but I would add 10-15% just to be safe. It will also give you some room to negotiate if needed and still be where you want the pricing to be. Let us know if you get the account and how it works out.

If you will be charging say $35 an hour for shearing work,
you should be charging $25an hour for clean-up work,
and if ladders are involved $40 an hour for shearing.

You should get the most money for Ladder work, but you should charge a little less for the guys you have doing the clean-up.
