I want to know where do you put your grass and leaves from your hopper when you are dumping. Is this going in your trailer or in your truck bed? Can you tell your stategy. When I'm talking about hopper, I'm talking of hopper from grasshopper, big frontmount, walker, etc.
Personnally, I don,t really like the vaccuum system on a trailer because I would need an other truck just to pull this...

The truck bed to is the best unless you fabricate a special area in the trailer to store the materials. just drive up on a tarp and dump it on that and lift fom there to the bed.

Yes its a idea but with a 24 cu. feet hopper it would be so hard to put all on a tarp everytime...

Have you seen the special made hopper bags from Walker? I wonder if Grasshopper makes them? I know there eaiser to handle than tarps.

Walker mowers offer the high dump system which works very good in my opinion

You can also try talking customer's into starting a composting area where you could dump on property. We do this a lot in my area.

this is a good idea and I also do them in some of our customer but the problem is with big commercial property where I have to collect and they don't have place for composting

Ever try Grasshopper Mulching Kit instead of collecting

I never try those but when you have 7 in of leaves I can't imagine that it can totaly disapear.

It will work very good through growing season and early fall but when leaves pile up definately neater to remove.
