Nice equipment. How do you like the Cub Cadet Tank? Also, why are you selling the Toro? Did you not like it, not use it, or needed the money? Was it a mechanical problem?

Lawn Enforcer: I love the tank works very well. I am selling the toro because I HATE it. Worst cut I have ever seen. I mean it works good but it cuts like crap.

AAteriors: the JD is probably between a 84' and 90's model other then that I am not sure but it need alot of work.

I haven't had a problem with them. I have one the is high torque and that thing will go though anything never slower down. Heck sometime when we run to get whippin down it looks better then walking with the other whip.

I'm wondering something... I had a Lesco, and a Toro ztr with that same engine(17Hp kaw) and both machines cut like crap....mmmmm seems wierd that your toro ( with a kawi 17 hp) cuts like crap... am I seeing a pattern her or is it just coincidental?I have a toro 48"(2000) with a kawi 12.5 hp and it cuts awesome! in fact I wont depart with it! anyone else have a 17 hp kawi that cuts bad?? just wondering ....or anyone with one that cuts good?

I have the identical mower to Derek's only mine is belt drive instead of hydro. Mine cut's amazingly! I can't believe it, it has the pro-slide sulky and a mud flap under the maching for enhanced striping and it stripes twice as good as the Z master. I'm thinking about putting a mud flap under the Z just for the fantastic results. I may post some pictures later! -Mitch-

Thanks I like it a lot the only thing I don't like is the trailer gate is to short for some equipment sometimes so I might make that longer.

Hey derek,

I had the same sort of problem as you're having with your toro. I had a Jd 727A, but the cut on it was pretty bad, although you hardly ever hear a bad word about the 7IronII deck. I worked with the dealer and made some adjustments but it's cut never even made it to the level of it's residential counterpart (JD LT155). After a while I found another Z I liked and the dealer was willing to give me $4,000 for the trade (roughly 300 hrs.) It turned out alright, but the dealer stood behind the 7IronII deck and said that mine may have been a factory made lemon, and just about anything- that we didn't check- could've caused the poor cut. I wish you the best of luck with the riddance of your proline. BTW-nice trailer.

Not much it is all weeds I always tell him it just needs to be redone lol or have you come and take care of the weeds but he doesn't listen but he wants it to look good with the whole on hedge he has so I trim that to but he won't do anything about the grass. But I guess that doesn't matter when that place is packed every night most the time. lol surprisingly I have never eaten there.

Bigjeep: for sure if you ever see me there stop in but most likely if it isn't in the summer and it is in the morning it is my employee but you can say hi to her if you want I don't care lol.

It makes A huge difference I would recomend it. I mean you still feel the huge bumps but the little ones are gone. I found that after adding it on I was less tired at the end of the day from hitting all those bumps.

Thank you sir...

The more I look at it, the more it looks like it has quite a bit of suspension travel.

I was thinking it was that other type that gave you like 1" of travel.
But as high as your seat is, it can't be.
