Will something like this suck mulch?

Can you take the hose and vacuum mulch out of bed with something like this?
I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for.

I think if your going to try sucking mulch you might want something more sturdy.....Something commercial and witha bigger motor.

I seriously doubt it. We "inherited" a unit similar to this at my full-time job, a leftover from a previous grounds superintendent. I remember tinkering with it, putting the hopper in the back of one of our Toro Workman vehicles and sucking small piles of leaves with the hose. Honestly, you could pick them up better by hand. 5 horse for vaccuming is a bit weak.

And honestly, I have never seen or heard of a landscape contractor vaccing mulch from beds. Seems odd to me. But whatever.

I just used that link to give you guys an idea of what I was talking about.

I may bid on a job, but the old mulch would need to be picked up.
I wasn't sure if it would do it or not.
