deck rake?

hey guys,
just bought a 2006 lazer z with striper. I was just curioius about deck rake. I heard that it will stripe best with a rake 1/8" higher in the back. I live in michigan and the grass is still wet and mushy so i havent been able to test the mower out yet, but if deck rake is important i would like to have it adjusted before the season gets completely underway. Also, how do you adjust the deck rake?

snowshreadr4ever here is what I have for you.

When you are running a striping roller rake is not as critical for the striping. The roller is going to roller the grass all one way as moves over the lawn. Now you will want positive rake in you mower for the grass you are mowing, a 1/8" will be fine.

The rake is adjusted buy raising or lowering the rear chains in the slot. It is best to check and adjust rake after rear tire PSI are set. Changes in tire pressure will effect rake measurements. Thanks Fred.
