What would be the best 48" Hydro walk behind to get?

Ive heart Hustler makes nice stuff, as far as ZTR's, but is the TrimStar Hydro a good mower? Im looking to spend less than $4,000 if possible. Thanks for any input!

you might want to check out an Exmark Turf Tracer HP

I like the Wright Velke. I think the new price is somewhere around 4-4.5k.

How are you going to get the "best" walk behind for under $4000? Unless it's used..........

I own a Velke by Wright. Its a tank and is far better than my scag 48 dual hydro. It cuts better, and has been more reliable. No bolts falling off and odd quirks like my Scag.

THe clutch on the Velke died at 80 hrs... but there was a warranty. I unfortunately bought it off someone at 40 hrs so I couldnt claim it.

Probably a fluke, but all in all I like the Velke way better than the Scag, except the pistol grip controls are easier to use... however Wright's controls are way safer.

You probally will need to get a used one.
