Broke Window & Ran Over Small Tree With Mower...

I am just starting out, today when my new mower with pistol grips got out of control I ran over a small tree. The debris shot out and went through the front window- she wasn't home so I finished and left. Should I call her and maybe offer to pay?
P.S. It musta been the double blades!!! What would you do?
