I use all these, and I find them incredible time savers.

Blu-loc is not worth the money, use Hunter swing pipe and Lasco Blue Twister barbs.

Really, I find blu loc costs less and it's just press on instead of doing in your wrists if tempertures aren't warm enough.

We looked at blu locs, Lasco twisters are our choice. We install remote
pigtails on all systems; great for service & winterizing! Not had much luck
w/ Rain Sensors: had them stick open or closed. Our market is such that
within 10 minutes, one of us can give the clocks a timed rain-off.

Temperature does have a lot to do with poly work. In some cold weather installs, when joining two larger poly pipes that are both curling up at the end of a pull, I would forget trying to fit them to a straight coupling, and use two street ells threaded together, for an easy connection.

I didn't know they made poly rain sensors.

Sure, hold out a short length of poly pipe - if it gets covered with droplets of water, it could be raining.

I just got a e-mail from mini-click...they want you to become the director
