I am renovating a lawn (overseeding and spot repair) then will be doing a fert program. Can I put down my first fert app then overseed or should i reverse it. How should I schedule these apps and overseeding?

I am a little confused by your title, are you wanting to put down a pre-m and then seed or fert and then seed? They are 2 completely different chemicals. The pre-m will not let the seed germinate. You need to put down some starter fert with the seed.

crabgrass preventer plus fert then seed

Tadams was right. pre-emerg and seed germination don't mix. You must use a starter fert to get the seed going. Might have to skip the pre-emerg this year.

The only pre-emergent labeled for this application is Tupersan-it prevents crabgrass, yet doesn't kill the grass seed. Don't apply chemicals if you aren't certified/licensed.:dizzy: :dizzy:
