View Full Version : What Size?

I am preparing to buy a new trailer to haul a 36" or 48" (haven't decided yet) Walk Behind, a push, some trimmers ,and a blower.

My space is quite small, so the biggest i could fit in it is a 5'x10'.

I however, since I'm am not hauling x2 72" ZTR's, i do not need anything huge and cannot decided between a 5x10 or a 5x8 .

What would you recommend?

Id go with the bigger of the two trailers because extra room is always a plus

With exceptions (as there are always some) ... go with the biggest you can afford and work with. It's a good idea to always have room to grow when it comes to equipment then to always have to deal with fighting for space for everything.

Like I said .. there are always exceptions and/or limits ... but save yourself room. When it come to buying a trailer, usually the price is pretty reasonable for each 2' you up the size (i.e. ... a 16' isn't all that much more then a 14'... 18' over a 16' ... and so on)

I'm picking up my 8x18 enclosed tomorrow ... but I originally started looking at a 7x16. There are a lot of 7x16's out there .. but I wanted the extra room ... plus I ordered the better side vents, LED lights, chrome front corners and chrome rear wrap.

thanks for all of your reccomemdations, but i just borrowed my buddy's 5x10 to see if it would fit, but it is too long by 3 inches, i was so mad. so i am stuck with a 5x8 until i get more space

5x8 will do fine, lots of guy here using 5x8 hauling either one 52" or 48" Z making big bucks, easy to park easy to tuck away in garage and cheap! When doing sod, have them delivered is cheaper cause you are landscaper with better pricing, load and unload on your big trailer is no that much saving, besides wear and tear on your truck when doing sod.
