Phazer Ultravac

I recently installed an Ultravac bagger system on ExMark Phazer. The system works, but the exhaust from the mower is blowing directly on the bag and has burnt a small hole in it. I am considering addinga metal elbow on my exhaust pipe to reroute it. Any suggestions? Did I leave something off when I installed it?
