what would you go with the rapid height 19hp kawe 52" or the regular 52" 19 hp kawe stander. The rapid height stander is 195.00$ cheaper (msrp)....why is it cheaper..........and what reasons would you go with one and not the other....

No question rapid height!

Changing the casters is a pain in the "A". I have the rapid height adjustment and love it. However, the 19hp I feel is under powered. I have a 52" 19hp and I have a 36" 17HP. The 36" with the 17HP is much more powerful. The 52" is too big of a deck with a 19 and in tall grass bogs down. The 36" goes right through. Try to get the 22HP if you can

They are great machines!!

Personally I would go with the regular Stander with a 23hp Kawi.

I just bought a 52/19 rapid height and love it. The fixed deck was also more expensive, so it was a no brainer for me.

Had I been given a decision, I would have prefered the 23hp over the 19, but I got a great deal on a leftover 06 and couldn't pass it up. I got to use the mower for the first time this weekend and the 19 does fine. I was mowing a property that was about a week overdue for a cut and taking off the better part of 4" at full speed wasn't a problem at all. At the 10 hour oil change, I plan on switching to Mobil 1 which also made a noticable difference in performance and fuel consumption in my 17hp on my old Toro.

I believe that the 19hp is the highest HP you can get on the Rapid height....probably to keep a price point or a space design issue.
There isn't a 22hp option. Closest would be 23hp but only on a fixed deck.

Yes... As I understand it the fenders were originally done because the units going overseas needed to be "CE" certified. So it was a safety thing with the wheels. The CE models also had the heat shields over the mufflers.

RAPID HEIGHT!

i dont care what kind of mower it is, floating deck is ALWAYS better than fixed

and its cheaper so you cant loose!

I currently run 2 52-23hp , standers. I would never consider the RH model for several reasons. 1. small frame, 2, narrow tires= rutting, 3. because of the narrow tires they do not hold hills as well. 4. I heard of a commercial cutter that had the deck drop to 0 while mowing a bumpy property. 5. I prefer a larger motor option for spring mowing. Just my 2 cents.

Its not a floating deck...Just rapidly changeable.

If you do not need to change height often, I would stick with the regular stander.

I am really unsure as to why the Rapid Height is cheaper. I dont really have anything to say to my customers about that when they ask. Maybe because the RH is still relatively new to the market they are trying to get more of them out there??? Maybe because its made on a smaller frame??? It would seem to me you have more parts so it should be more expensive...but whatever. LOL.

Yes, 19 is the largest they can fit on the RH currently. The larger block Kawasaki engines will not fit.

Floating deck is not ALWAYS better..I prefer fixed, but I believe it depends on condition and mower..

We have the 36" with rapid height.......I would worry a little about how the rapid height is going to hold up on these bigger mowers due to the combined weight of the bigger deck and bigger engine. This deck has not give in it so if you hit something...something is going to bend or break. I do like the rapid height for the 36".

Wright started putting the fenders on in 2005, because both of mine have fenders.

Just curious...do you have the cut out for an ammeter? I saw another 05 with fenders and there was not even a hole for the ammeter. I've seen that they at least have the plastic plug in the cutout if it didn't have the meter.
