Just picked up my Quick 36 fox. The crate was HUGE and took 3 people to take it out of my truck, although it fit fine with room to spare in the bed of my Ram. Very easy to set up once you get through the crate that could double as a bomb shelter. Just had to install 4 screws to put the handle bars up and add gas! Installed the striper kit that I ordered with it, a little on the pain in the as* to install but not not hard @ all. Once I fiered it up I mowed my entire yard in under an hour (1.75acres). Stripes great, run awsome, all around a great machine so far. Waiting for the step saver to arrive, it was on back order. I would post a few pics but dont know how so if anyone wants to P.M. me on how to I would be happy to post a few.

Hi Guys, The SAM is home!! I had it delivered to the house, the driver dropped it where I asked him to and my son and I tore into it like a monkey on a cupcake. It took about 25 mins to open it and set it up. Connected the battery ground, put the four screws in the handle (which has very comfortable grips), gassed it up, pulled the choke, turned the key three times and it fired up!! It is so easy to use. It handles like a 21". I am so pumped!! This machine is Awesome!! :clapping: Here is a couple pics, click the link for all of them.

How much did it set you back (including shipping)? If I get one I would be getting the same accessorys as you and I wondered exactly how much it costs.
Thanks

Do you guys think that front bumper on the deck would catch and bend when going backwards?

I don't quite understand your concern regarding the bumper, whether the machine is in reverse or forward.

I've got almost 400hrs on my Q36 - employee use (or is that abuse?) and the bumper is still operational. :waving:

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!

I'll give you the number to my tailor. He only makes capes for certain people but I will put in a good word for you.

Congrats on the Sam! Looks good!!!!!!! It's crazy how it is so compact. I dig it. Wish I could test drive one though.

Well now I'm wondering about two concerns:

1: this bumper appears to stick out and could catch on things.

2: are these things NOT capped? wouldn't they get full of crap.. even water?

Hi Metro, It was delivered to my house and total was just over 34 hundred. It was well worth the 109 to have it brought to the house.
The thumb control for reverse is nothing, it takes very little effort to press it. My son is 16 and handles it with no problem.

I understand that these are single hydro units right? So that means only one wheel gets the juice or is it pumped to both? And is there a lot of man handling involved like turns or on hills? Just a few questions that I am interested in.

My bumper has never caught anything....and WD40 every month and its golden. Ive had my Samurai for about a year...I service around 50--1/4 acre properties...haven't had a problem. Seems like alot of people really want to find something wrong with these machines because of their great reviews and prices...but...sorry...they really kick ass. The Quick 36 is hands down the best 36" walkbehind on the market.

I stopped by their shop last week on my way to Asheville NC and tested one out. I was concerned about how a single hydro would turn, but I was surprised at how easy it was to maneuver. The hand control and reverse was very easy. I did not think that things would get caught in the bumper. The only flaw that I could find on this machine was if you had to cut lots of hills sideways, and then the single hydro drive would not perform as well as a dual hydro. But since I don't have to cut any yards like that, I am going to place my order as soon as I have the money.

Ha... Ive got one Strong Right Thumb! Once you get used to running it, you wont need to reverse as often.

how bad is the cut hieght adjustment... quick says 2 min. We often have to change between bermuda and st augustine and I can take the time to be jackin around half the day. Is it really that easy ?

Height adjustment isn't bad, definitely under 5 minutes and simple to do. If you are in a hurry i guess you can do it at two minutes.
