hour meter for trimstar

I want to put an hour meter on my trimstar 15/36, hustler does not offer one as an option so I purchased the kit they sell for the fasttrack can anyone help me on how to wire it up.The digital meter is batt powered and has two connections on the back I assume they are a power and a ground, but i'm not sure any help would be great.

Is this a Hydro? doesn't sound like it, cause the Hydro comes with a meter.
I would return the kit you bought and buy a aftermarket one that works off the spark plug.
You are not going to be able to easily wire in that FasTrak kit, if at all, due to no battery on the mower you bought.

Go with a Tiny Tach brand or Briggs branded one, they are available at about any mower shop.
