I had a sod lawn (tall fescue) installed a few months back. Looked as if the landscape crew didn't do anything to prep the soil, just laid down the sod. The grass has plenty of water and the roots have taken but it is not growing very well in fact we haven't even had to mow it yet. It is very easy to notice the lines between the individual sod strips. Our front lawn which is also tall fescue is growing quiet vigoursly and needs regular mowing. I was wondering what was causing the lack of growth and how to fix it. Lawn is in full sun and grass is only growing where the lawn is adjacent to a wall.
