I got my new dump insert today, finally. It is a DownEaster Aluminum Dump insert with the double acting pump, Head Board and Tarp System. It is awesome. I cant wait to use it!

I plan on getting the salter attachment in the Fall.

Any comments?

That is the exact truck i want, plow, dump insert and everything (except i would add the tires you had on your 2001:weightlifter: ). But i was wandering, how it plowed for you this season and how you like it so far? Also, is this going to tow your maintenance crew this year or a landscape trailer? Great looking rig! Thanks! -Mitch-

Thanks guys. That costed me more than a freaking new plow. Or another way of saying if would be that it costs more than TWO steel versions. It was NOT cheap at all. But IMO you get what you pay for.

are you gonna sell your ford now that you have that or are you gonna get a bigger truck?

Thats gonna be real labor and time saver. Are you going to put sideboards on it? I'm planning on getting an insert this spring or summer.

How much they wack you for installation? I did mine in 30 minutes the other day. But I have done it about 5 times now. Get some side boards on that thing.

wow, for that money you could have put a full dump body on and sold your bed. but hey, whatever works. it does look nice.

BMFD92 - No, I plan on keeping the f350 for another 3 years.

RedMaxxMan - Yes I have sideboards ready, but it is like 28 degreese and I dont need them on yet, so when it reaches above 45 i will put them on. (they're already made)

Mystic - A few hundred. I dont mind though because I dont have the tools (atleast I think) to screw around with it, plus I have better ways to spend my time. lol

Haybaler - Yes I could have but I like this option better for some reason, it looks sick.

Will you build a leaf box for it in the fall? or do use one of the other truck for fall cleanups.

not sure yet. fall cleanups are ALONG way away. I'll worry about that in september lol
