I purchased these tires off of Iron Planet

I hope that link works
They are 31X15.5X16.5. I am hoping to increase floatation of the 465. Any one running this size tire?
Also there was some good deals on ASV's today. Two 05 machines one with about 900 hours went for 19500.

hmmm. I've recently been looking at Iron Planet -- I'm in the market for another track loader. I get scared buying something I can't see though. I don't know a whole lot about this Iron Planet.
As you know if you buy a machine that offers the inspection it is pretty inclusive to include engine oil and hyd. analysis. Still buying something you cant operate is a gamble. You can read the fine print on their inspections and warranty. The only issue I have is that the transporation can be a PITA. I have been satisfied with the items I have purchased.

Yes, transportation could be an issue. I noticed some items in the mid atlantic states, but a lot in the midwest as well. Maybe I should look a little harder, 19k is a lot cheaper than what i'm looking at around here.
sorry if I hijacked this thread.
Get an 05 RC85 with 900 hours for 19500. That is a smokin deal if that is what your looking for. I don't know what they are new but I imagine around 50K. One went to Australia, maybe Squizzy bought himself one.

Im still affraid of buying a heavy piece of machinery of the internet and have never run it or looked at it closely. Not to say these guys could not do a good and honest inspection but also they may miss something. I guess if you was getting down to the narrow and you really had a good enough deal you could fly out and look at it. I think for now I would just stick to the smaller items which appears what ksss, is doing. Not too much can go wrong with tires and rims especially at that price.
The most expensive I item I have purchased was a Tag trailer total price by the time I got it home was 13800. Everything else was under 5K

Just wondering, is a 465 Bobcat one of the small machines? Never heard of that number. The small machines have a smaller diameter rim, I am not sure if there are any clearance issues due to the shorter wheelbase. I have seen a 463 Bobcat with the 16 inch wide tires, and it makes a huge difference in the sand but also expands it's width making it unable to get through a narrow gate. If you have the extra foot of width to spare the little ASV would be a good machine if it's priced right and in good shape.
The 465 is a CASE machine 3000 plus ROC it weighs 9K plus .

Ksss,
I have those tires on my 205 Bobcat and love them. They will help you out alot. If not for those tires here in the florida sand I would need tracks.
That is my hope. I plan on using the machine in conjunction with an automated laser grader. I will be on 3/4 crushed roadbase. I may even mount the tires on the 440 I am really not sure yet but I anticipate problems staying on top of the 3/4 with a 7' blade. I priced the tires and they are about $312 a piece. The rims I had not priced but I am sure their not cheap. It will cost me around 700 including shipping I figure it is worth a try for that kind of money. I just hope those are CASE rims or maybe the bolt patterns are the same. I was never able to get that question answered before the auction.

Interesting, never worked on a case except the 18XX machines. I have seen many skid loaders using those tires in the sand, especially 763 Bobcats. The 16 inch wide tires allow any machine to work in the dry sand.
I wanted to post an update on these tires. I put them on the 440. They are CAT rims and tires and they bolt up perfectly to the CASE machine. I used them in some seriously muddy conditions in Big Sky, MT. They wont take the place of tracks but they go along way to bridge the gap between the typical 12X16.5 and tracks. The added traction is very noticeable, the machine spun less and put more power to the ground. I left them on for a couple of days around here. I can walk across sod and not leave a mark. Even when rotating on sod the damage was very light. I was very surprised at how effective these tires are. If you are in the middle between needing tracks these maybe an alternative. They certainly are a tool to put in the toolbox.

Sounds good ksss, I may consider some of these tires and rimms down the road. Im kinda in the middle of the boat myself. I like tracks but not all the expense but would like to have something better than the tires I have now. I guess there would not be anymore stress on the hydraulic pump than using tracks over the tires.
