Spray head not getting everything...

Having problem with coverage on rain bird's spray heads. The areas that are effected are not getting enough water (I believe) due to the arc of the spray. What I am try to say is there are areas, not in shade, (we are in a drought so this could influence the areas) that are not getting water. The areas are near the heads so i think the spray is going over them not reaching those close areas.

Any suggestions for different spray types or does the soil need to be treated in those dry areas?

I believe it is just sun damaged because of the drought and the areas soil needs to be treated...

I find this to be an issue when there is no head to head coverage. For adequate coverage, double coverage is needed. I have noticed that spray heads do not put as much water near the head as further out, but the adjacent heads cover those areas. Fortunately borderline areas only crop up with severe drought conditions.
