This is probably best answered by an Exmark rep. I only have 6 Suzuki 2 stroke short blocks left. Next year I will need to invest in new 21" mowers. What I would like to know is will either the Kaw or Honda engines fit these old 22040 decks and what additional parts will I need to purchase to make it work? I know I will need a new blade bracket since the crank diameter is different than the Suzuki but what about the engine mounting plate and blade brake?
