My buddy has an eagle star 48 inch walk behind commercial mower and it's probly a few years old I dunno how many..... It leaks oil and I can't tell where it's coming from? It is not coming from the oil plug or the filter where else should I look? thanks alot guys, any input would be helpful

It might have a bad gasket on the engine. Clean it with degreaser than run it you should be able to tell the basic area it is leaking. Also it might sound dumb but replace the air filter if the old one is dirty it may just be burning oil. Our mechanic told us that when the filter starts to get to bad the engines burn oil quicker. Some likely places for oil to leak:
Valve cover gasket.
Dipstick cap or shaft seal.
Governor shaft seal.
Oil filter seal.
Oil drainage plug loose or not sealing.
Cylinder head gasket.
