removing grass

I'm going to need to remove about 450 sq of grass but i wont be able to use a sod cutter and I'm just looking for some idea or ways you guys would do this or have done it in the past.

If I do a new landscape bed or lawn area, I spray once or twice if I missed some, for new lawn till in, landscape bed probably not,
