whats up guys just figured i'd give a heads up if you didn't allready know, do not buy a shini eb8510 blower, they have massive head gasket issues, ours crapped the bed like 5 months into owning it blown headgasket leaked oil all over the back of our shirts,

took it to the dealer and they said all of them had the issue, they pretty much took all of the ones they sold in for service, they were going to replace it for free with another eb8510 but we decided to go with old faithful and traded it for a shini eb630 and took 95 bucks store credit.

so in closing if your thinking of buying one i'd wait until they have the headgasket issue figured out.

They all ready figured it out. The bolts needed to be torqued tighter.

yeah well i went there today and they still hadn't got it right so i traded it for an eb630, my dealer tok em off the shelves.

my have the mighty have fallen! shindy stuff used to be top shelf and i cant believe they would tarnish their rep by putting something out with out enough r& d-but after owning the sorry excuse for a comm trimmer 231 i have changed my mind about them

yeah i said the same thing how did they not notice they were blowing headgaskets, did they only test one for like 30 minuts and call it a day.

now dont get me wrong i love love love the eb630 thats all i have ever owned i just figured when it was time to buy another blower why not try the newer bigger better (or so i thought) eb8510 but that was a mistake.

I've got 20-30 hrs on my 8510 w/ no problems. Sounds like you need a more knowledgeable dealer, mine re torqued the head after 3 hrs use and its been problem free for the last year.

Well they aren't the only ones with gasket problems....both of my Echo PB650 had to be replaced and both of my BR420 went in the first year. Unfortunately the bolts aren't holding.....need to tighten them yearly it looks like.

Shindaiwa commercial blowers are covered by a 1 year commercial warranty.

Your beloved Redmax 2 year commercial warranty will likely change once Husqvarna sees how much they are dishing out after 1 year of stuff in the field.

and BTW, that's a really good photo of you in your avatar.

Hmm are you sure 1 year, half as long as the max, and before you bash redmax a sponser on the site, have owned a redmax.

One year commercial is the warranty period on the EB8510.

i too will bash redmax....after having everything on my eb8000 brake, i will never buy another redmax blower.
