Is this Mallow ? If so what gets rid of it. will the broad leaf application take care of this or do you need to target this specifically?

Would that be henbit?

If so, most broadleaf "stuff" will kill it.

It scares me how many people are out there spraying stuff and do not even know what they are spraying.
If they can't ID the "weed", is it really safe to assume that they know the proper way to apply the "stuff" they are buying and spraying?

I agree to a point. I would hope that most know what a weed is and what isn't a weed, more so than knowing the name of it. Being book smart and brain dead is useless if they don't use common sense, so I agree about proper spraying and would be more concerned about someone not spraying recommended amounts or not being safety conscious.

Deadnettle and Henbit are often confused.

They look very similar and grow during the same time of year.
