My dealer showed me a little bolt at the end that you remove and poor some grease into it, pretty simple. The grease was some "speacial" liquid type stuff.

Use the Echo gearcase lube....take a small screw driver and kinda work the lube down into the opening. Don't fill it full because when it heats up you could blow out the seals.

I've always removed the access bolt and used a rubber tipped attachment for my grease gun and put about 2 pumps/season in mine.

There are no seals in the gearbox.
