I was asked by my aunt if I could weed her landscaping and put in new mulch. This is what has overtaken her flowerbeds. Do any of you know what this is or what kills it. Any help would be appreciated. Also the flowerbeds are filled with tulips. She said she has fought with this stuff for years and it just grows back. (Hopefully The Pictures Work) :)

Wild onion or wild garlic. Wait until the tulips are gone for the season and treat with Roundup with plenty of Spreader Sticker. Be careful not to get the roundup on any desirable plants.

I always though wild onions and garlic were taller. These plants are only 6" tall and are about 1/8" around. I don't know though, you might be right.

Crush it and smell it if it's garlic or onion, you'll know. Even if its not I would treat it the same.

I believe that they are Star of Bethlehem (Ornithogalum variety). They are wild and rowdy spreaders and have very pretty star-shaped white flowers later in the season. They are very aggressive and easy to dig out to get rid of 'em. Or you can nuke 'em.
