I am going to relocate somewhere in South Florida, and the Keys is a favorite fishing and dive spot, so I'm curious as to the market potential. Thanks

check the 8'th listing from the top ..... I'd say you know how much $$ it would be to live there ......many of the resorts & hotels have in house grounds people

but the vacation & rental homes ALL need maintanence ....with the upper keys your largest amount of resi's .....yet is spread almost 60 miles from Key Largo to Big Pine ....Big Pine is the best bet

maybe call a few of the listings from above n get the feel of working for a larger op a year than doing your own thing or at least call to get idea of local rates

good luck ;->

Once you get past Islamorada it kinda dies out until you get to Marathon. And then nothing until you get to Key West. That's the way it was when I lived there 25 years ago anyway. Like theleven said The Key Largo area is good.

Big money for housing in the Keys. Might be a lot cheaper to be based in Homestead and use a 800 number.

Being based in Homestead results in a minimum 20 mile commute just to get to the north Keys. If you get one of those horrific accidents that the 20 mile strech is famous for you could be hours just trying to get through. Then it's another 24 miles to Islamorada.
