aeration frequency

one of our 8 soccer fields sits very high, dries out quickly and is heavily used.
the field is very compacted. would like to know a suitable number of times a year to aerate without do more damage than good. core aeration....

Aerate and over-seed in the late spring after the fields have had a good workout. dot it again late summer before the fall season starts. you could aerate a couple more times a year, just don't do it when the ground is too wet.
