Curious as to what a 50 lb bag of granular 5-0-5 DIMENSION would cost? I am in the central US.

Last year I was at $12 for 19-0-7, .10% 30% slow release coverage of 12k sq ft / 50 lbs.

What are you using, and what rate of total material are you spraying? (i.e., Are you spraying with a skid at 1 gal. per M, ow what?) You say this works....have you done this in the past years, or is this a first?

I've got LifeGuard WSPs down to just under $20 / pouch, and it takes 2 pouches / acre. I only buy 1 case, basically covering about 1.6M sq ft / round. IF someone were to buy more, we all know about Lesco's pricing.

So, that would be roughly $400 for 10 acres, JUST for the "Dimension". LifeGuard is Lesco's generic Dimension.

I then run 10-0-20, 65% slow release, 10% iron as a granular fert with it, for the first round.

My main goal isn't so much as cost, since if it was, I'd be running 19-0-7, .15, 30% slow, the cheapest pre-em I can get / sq ft, but to try to cut out so much double / triple cutting, especially in the spring, when we bluegrass guys REALLY don't need the "N".

Runner - FYI, Dimension 2EW "my price" is $1500, and application on northern zones is 1 pint / acre, for a .24% AI, just the pre-em..... so.... that would be about $37.50 / acre, or $375 for the 10 acres as well. This is just off of Lesco's website, not down there "haggling".

I get Dimension 2EW for $27.50/acre and I treat 130 acres so maybe that's why my price is so good.

Demension 19-0-4 (not sure %) is 23 bucks at home depot. I think it was like a 40 something pound bag (odd number) covers 12000 sq ft. They had a 25lb bag of scotts preM right next to it for $49!!

I had problems with LifeGuard through the PG Magnum, so I took 3/4 of the case back. I got a credit of $750, and had paid just over $1000 for the case.

I picked up a case of Dimension 2EW today, for a price of $500.

It's a pint per acre, so a case is 5 gallons, or 40 pints. That's 40 acres for $500, or $12.50 / acre??? I don't know how they came up with that price, but I was sure to not say anything....

I REALLY should go and buy another 2 cases......

We shopped 3 different venders. LESCO had the best deal, so they shipped us 70 tons in January.

I cannot disclose what we paid because that is between LESCO and us.

One thing's for sure......my local LESCO guys have always gone "above and beyond" for us. They are the best for us --- bar none.

The price you pay depends on the quantity you buy. The analysis you specified is not commonly ordered in high volume, so I'm guessing you're talking about a relatively small amount?

You can save if it's direct shipped (large orders).

Small amounts...you can expect to pay retail. You might save money if you pick it up.

Call LESCO or UAP for prices. Good luck.
