dyes for hardwood mulch

Hey there

I was reading in a magazine a couple of months ago where some guys were using dyes on there hard wood mulches. They did this on mulch beds that were a couple years old and really didn’t need anymore mulch just needed a little pick me up on the color side. My question to you guys has anyone else ever heard of this being used in the field. And if so where can I buy it and how did it turn out?

I never used the stuff...yet. I do know lesco does or did sell it.
