ahh, I like honeybees, they never seem to bother me, and they pollinate SO MANY CROPS! I think it's more scary that we're running out of honeybees! Now hornets and wasps...they can get lost for all I care.

Yes, those bees in that state are not going to harm you unless you REALLY were trying to piss them off. They are away from the hive so they are much less likely to defend anything.
Another yes to the wasps and hornets comment. They have NO PLACE in society! I just can't wait to get my first sting of the season.... If you work outside every day, all day, it's a gurantee you will get nailed at least once per year! I usually carry wasp/hornet spray on the trailer, sometimes with me on the mower, and I will go out of my way to shoot nests. I know that if they didn't get me today, they just might in a couple weeks, or someone else that's allergic.

It's good to see the honey bees. Albert Einstein said that when the bees are gone, the planet will end. Some are saying that the cell phones are killing them by confusing their radar. I really hope this is not true, because I think the cell phone is one of the greatest inventions, but I would be sure to get rid of mine if this is the case..

Seeing as this has been revived, my post on the subject was a light-hearted attempt a humor, perhaps lost on some. Seriously, let honeybees alone, they have enough problems, although I don't believe that cell phones have anything to do with it, too much of the algore tinfoil hat wearin crowd weighin in, there. One thing is that those that have the cell phone stuck in their ear seem to be more likely to remove themselves from the gene pool, than honeybees!:laugh:
