Thanks rob!

HOLD UP...PUT ON THE BRAKES.
What kawasaki engine is it? FH381V would take an RCJ8Y or CJ8Y
FC400V/FC401V would be the RN11YC4 or N11YC.
You are gonna have problems if you put a 322 in where an 863 should be ;)

Yah, I didnt even know about the 400/401...those are before my time I guess...LOL
Doesnt matter, champions newest book is from 2005. I sure hope the listings for cars are alot more complete than small engines/power equipment.

I'm replacing the Champion RCJ8Y plugs with E3 plugs for my 13HP FH381V. We'll see if they make a difference.

Worst part is some of the liquid cooled kawaski's....they started out using the 863's or a similar plug and at some point in production they changed the heads and started using the 322's. I dont think champion's cross reference bothers to mention that little tidbit.
For those that dont know those numbers 863 is an RCJ8Y I think....short reach plug. 322 is the RN11YC4 or something long reach plug that is common in basically every Honda OHV/OHC engine.
