Redmax with the solid drive shaft not the flex cable that always brakes on most other units. But I just fix'em don't run them commercially.

By the way the reason the cables brake so much is from running the gear head on the ground(no wheel) and binding the blade onto a rock, sidewalk, etc. The cables will last longer if wheel ran at lowest point on the guard and edger blades are changed more frequent.

Good luck with your purchase:)

Anyone worked with the Kawasaki KEL27A stick edger. If so what are your thoughts toward it.

Yeah they are good, parts are relatively inexpensive and easy to get. Power to weight is very good on them.

Stihl. Bought the fc75 wanted to go for cheaper model. Returned it the same day. Weak as hell. Went balls out and got the 110. This machine is beast. Wont be disapointed. Gonna have to spend a little, but you know what they say you get what you pay for. just my 2 cents.

Shindaiwa LE 261. Avoid Stihl until they stop using Zama carbs.

I've been using Echo, works fine for me. No flex cable.
