I was just called on today to price out a job for hydroseeding "it would be my first big job of this magnatude." I have not looked at the lawn yet but i would like to ask the pros how to price it.The Yard is about 1 acre total. And what prep work needs to be done for a job this big. And where can i find the stuff that goes into a hydroseeder.
I am going to rent all the necessary equipment.
Here is a list of equipment i will rent.
1.kubota L35 Tlb with harley rake
2.Bobcat T250 with all necessary landscape tools
3.750gallon Hydroseeder.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks

I should have read your thread better. Product cost x 2 meaning your seed fert and all other material. Charge for what you pay to rent the machines and charge $55.00 an hour to do this at min.

a job that big .08 cents a square foot for hydroseed.
if it were me, i'd use a box scraper behind the tractor, and rake it out.
if it is open, level, and you are just finegrading it, 2500 bucks.
put a discount on it to make homeonwer feel good, and final bid 5340. which is pretty danged cheap for an acre of lawn.
