curious if anyone pretreats their trimec or other herbicide 2.5 gallon jugs or larger drums with a sticker to eliminate a step in mixing. Kind of a custom mixed Trimec pro if you will. Thanks

We put in LI700 (UAP) with our Chaser herbicide for spot spraying on hard to kill weeds.

yes, putting several ounces of sticker into a 2.5 jug of herbicide to eliminate using sticker at every fillup of the magnum.

we reuse (shhhh, I believe the label says not to reuse jugs....but we do) the 2.5 gal jugs for the PG fill. Premixing herbicide and sticker so when on the road we just need to fill PG from the easy to pour jugs. Not sure if we're saving time (well i guess we are saving some time during the day but them jugs need to be refilled at the end of the day)
The thing about doing as much mixing of products at the shop rather than on the road is much less likely for an accident of spillage

Hi lawnservice....this is exactly what we do too. Our Chaser herbicide comes in 2 1/2 gallon jugs, so we reuse the empty jugs. We mix up a 50 gallon tank with Chaser, water, and LI700 spreader/sticker -- then we fill the empty 2 1/2gallon jugs with the solution. This makes for a very potent yet accurate mixture. Very convenient too, as all the guys have to do is pour it in. No measuring needed.

We do this for our battery powered backpack sprayers as well as our PG Ultras.

NOTE: the mixture for our PG sprayers is more concentrated, of course.

Reason we like LI700 = it's a spreader/sticker/penetrant/acidifyer. Smells strong though.
