In my PG Ultra, will it hurt to leave a gallon or two of this weed solution in the tank for a few days? Is it tough on the pump?

Also i had a guy tell me that the Magnum pump runs all the time--that the handle just opens the valve. Is this the case? Or is there some kind of clutch mechanism? What kind of pump does the Magnum use?

The Magnum pump does run all the time. its belt driven with the same belt that turns the spinner plate. you squeeze the spray lever and it opens the valve to the nozzles.

Don't know how durable the diaphragms & seals are. But why tempt fate?

Who makes this Tri-Ester you're using?

Little known fact: Triplet LO is the only NuFarm herbicide that is specifically formulated for low volume use in a PermaGreen.

I should have said "Lesco Three-way Ester II"

Ahhhh...AKA Cool Power....still made by NuFarm. I doubt it would be any worse than any other herbicide as far as pump wear goes. If the whetted parts of the pump can't handle a few days soak in an ester herbicide it really shouldn't be used for this application.

Don't lose any sleep over it.
