just bought a 65 gallon tank... (sorry didnt know where to post this)
anyways, we plan on using it for ONLY watering plants and new grass. tractor supply said we could hook a hose up and it will work off gravity flow!! YEA RIGHT it dribbles out.
any words on this? what can help it except buying a pump? just want to water plants, and new strawed areas.

It should work. We run a 400 gallon tank (gravity fed), and we have no prob.

Can you raise the tank a little higher? Make a cradle out of about 6 fert bags. Does that help? How long is hose? What diameter? A shorter hose and bigger diameter will also increase flow.
Some where else here i heard a live box pump for fishing boat worked well--and cheap. Bilge pump is another possibility.

We've been using the Flo-jet electric pumps for about six years for both spraying and hanging basket flower watering. the pumps are bolted right onto the tops of the plastics tanks. pumps need replacing every 2-3 years and plug right into the truck wiring
