I am bout to by a Hustler Mini Z 19/52". For my 5 acres and a couple of neighbors yards. I also have another Kubota G1900 diesel rider. I have done searches and read on this site where some claim the 19hp. Is not enough. I don't plan on mowing much more than a few yards every week. I don't really consider it serious commercial mowing. My kids will be doing it really.
Do yall think it will handle this OK. I am not really concerned about going 10mph. mowing. But will it still be faster than the Kubota. I'm guessing yes.
Thanks

You might consider a bigger Hustler, but you will probably be fine. I have a
18/52 fastrak and I mow 3-3 1/2 acres with. Ask PJ on the Hustler forum on this site.

... I asked the dealer about it too and he said, and I also read, that the 19hp Kaw. has as much torque as a 23hp Honda. I think it should be fine. I don't want to spend an extra $800 for the larger motor.
Thanks.
