I like the tundra. My dad is getting one soon to work with me. Toyotas last and are better than any american made truck imo.

Trust me the high lift is my favorite it has rained alot here and last week it finaly got warm enough to make the bermuda grow anyway i mowed 24 yards and not all small yards i think my yard ave was around 35 or 36 bucks a yard i put 7.5 hours on the walker and that is alot of grass cutting early in the morning to late at night and i could not have done it if it wasnt for that walker last year i did 16 by my self with the smaller walker pictured there with it and the next morning my back was telling me about lifting all of that grass

Negatory on that one. Tundras can not hold up for very long when used for heavy work. My cousins tundra fell apart after 2 years of hauling and delivering news papers. Now the rear end permanantly sags, brakes wear out super fast, rotors warp super easy and a big list of other problems. This is the reason why you see almost no Tundras being used for any sort of real work. :nono:

I agree with pro street the tundra is not a work truck. Ok for driving around and hauling light loads but i dont even like pulling my trailer with it empty much less full i do think it is lacking a little in the breaking department

You comparing Apples to Oranges here.

Toyota's NASCAR Program. Constantly being tested and tried. And fixed. And, have what 5 cars?

Take the tundra...A truck, millions sold.

Being a TUndra owner, I have to ring in here. I am currently looking to buy a 3/4 ton truck because I am starting to work into larger jobs needing the larger truck. I have used all of the BIG 3 brands and my Toyota will pull with any of the other 1/2 tons. Take a trip to a dealership and check out the 07 model Toyota.

I completely agree with you. I love the look of the New Toyota's. However, if I bought a new Truck today, I'd Support our failing economy since I live in the U.S. and buy myself a Big 3 truck.
People like you are the ones that ask, why is our economy failing, and everything, and all you have to do is look outside to see the New Japanese Truck in your driveway.

Not Directed at one person, but many ^

Our economy is not failing... it is doing better than ever. Look at the Dow. I actually understand economics, and I don't believe buying a toyota is going to hurt the economy. Unions and healthcare are what is killing the big 3... not toyota. I don't know about you, but if I work my ass off and pay cash for a brand new truck... I sure as hell am going to buy the best truck for the money... no matter what brand. Do whatever the hell you want to do... that is the american thing to do.

And maybe some day you will be working your ass off for 5 dollars a day. When China or Japan take over some day.

Whats really funny about your argument is the fact that toyota trucks are built right here in the USA while most american trucks are built in mexico or canada. So buying an american truck is hurting the economy more than buying the toyota truck. BUT again the toyota will not hold up to daily heavy duty work like a truck from the big 3.

The reason that the US builds Fords and Chevy's in Mexico and Canada is because they build and sell cars there. They make a complete line of cars and trucks there that are not available in the US and probably models you have never seen or heard of. If people did not buy Toyota's and Honda's we would not have to worry about the issue of where US cars are made. The US auto industry just about bankrupt because of cheap Asian cars and trucks flooding the market. So keep supporting the enemy..And we will all be forced to be driving tin cans..But this is getting off the issue of lawn care so I will end the losing argument.

cheap? really? Maybe we shouldn't buy dodges b/c they are owned by the Germans.

The american auto industry is bankrupt b/c of unions and healthcare!!! It is there own fault... if Toyota and Hondas weren't around... the Big 3 would really suck... the competition continually improves the product.

Like I said I buy the best product for my needs... I don't care where it comes from. And there is nothing GM about it except the name plate. I believe my 7.8L 6-cylinder frr will do just about anything I need it to... if I were you I would be ashamed to own anything craftsman... let alone put it in my signature!

I am not ashamed, I could go out tomorrow and buy any tractor, ZTR, etc..I want, the sky is the limit. I needed a tractor and I saw one in Sears I liked and I bought it. Its a top of the line model, has all the extras and does everything I ask it to do. You think I should go out and spend six grand on a commercial machine when I cut my lawn once a week. To me it is just a lawn mower, I got other more expensive hobbies to worry about. Good luck to you..
